Four Lions Net Career-First Goals in 5-0 Win

LAKEWOOD, NJ (Oct.8th,2025) -Georgian Court Women's Soccer earned their first win of the season in dominant fashion, scoring five goals in the match.

How it Happened
• The Lions scored three first half goals to set the tone early.
• The Lions had a total of 32 shots in the game compared to Lincoln's 5. 
• Two second-half goals put the finishing touches on Georgian Court's win.

 First Half 
• It took only eight minutes for freshman Erynn Richey to score her first collegiate goal. 
Richey finished off a second goal before halftime, extending the Lions lead to 2-0.
Just one minute after Richey's second, sophomore Jessie Donnely notched her first collegiate goal.

Second Half 
• Freshman Sophia Lozado added her first goal, putting the Lions comfortably ahead 4-0, assisted by Delanie Wilkinson. 
• The last time GCU had a player with an assist and a save in the same game was Lindsay Hammond on September 29, 2009 against Goldey-Beacom until Delanie today.
•The day belonged to first-time scorers, with freshman Gabby Kelsey sealing the win.

Lion Stat Leaders 
• Erynn Richey led the lions with two goals. 
 Gabby Kelsey, Sophia Lozado, Jessie Donnely each had one goal. 
Delaine Wilkinson, Meghan Moore, Chiamaka Wokocha each had one assist. 
 Three different Lions had saves in goal, Christina Ellis and Delaine Wilkinson had two saves, Kelly Quinn had one save.

  For Lincoln
Nevaeh Washington had 13 saves in goal. 
Briana Poullard led Lincoln with two shots on goal. 

News and Notes
• Lincoln played two players down the entire game with only nine on the field. 

Next Game
•The Lions return home this Saturday at home against Staten Island at 12 pm.
