Lions Drop Offensive Showdown at East Stroudsburg

EAST STROUDSBURG, PA (Nov. 25, 2025) - In a high-scoring affair, Georgian Court's offense couldn't keep up with East Stroudsburg as the Warriors put up 100 in a 106-84 win over the Lions. The loss snaps Georgian Court's three-game winning streak and drops them to 3-2 on the season. 

How it Happened
• Both teams shot better then 45% from the floor with the Warriors hitting 49% and the Lions 47%.
• The Lions struggled from distance though hitting just 4-22. ESU wasn't much better, making 7-22.
• GCU hit 14-17 at the foul line while the Warriors made 19-31. Georgian Court had a tough time defensively and committed 24 fouls.
• ESU had a big advantage on the glass, pulling down 50 rebounds, 19 offensive. Georgian Court finished with 36 boards.
• Georgian Court had a tough time hanging onto the ball. They committed 24 turnovers which led to 31 Warrior points. The Lions scored 16 off 15 ESU giveaways. 

1st Half
• Georgian Court scored the first points of the game as Anthony Rivera hit a layup. That 2-0 advantage would be the only lead for GCU on the night.
• East Stroudsburg scored the next nine points in their first of two extended runs in the half.
• The Lions trailed by 11, 17-6, but consecutive Donavin Crawford three-pointers help get them back to within four, 18-14.
• It was still a four-point lead, 20-16 at the under 12 media timeout and ESU was slumping from the floor hitting just one of their last seven.
• Coming out of the timeout though, the Warriors found their stride. They hit a three out of the break and that started a 12-0 run that saw them go ahead 32-16.
• The lead was in double-figures the rest of the way. 
• They were trading baskets near the end of the half. In the closing seconds, Georgian Court tried a deep pass that was intercepted and a foul put the Warriors on the line. They hit 1-of-2 and took their largest lead into the break, 55-35.
• Georgian Court turned the ball over 11 times in the win against Kutztown. They committed 14 in the first half tonight.
• The Warriors shot 49% hitting 21-43 for the first 20 minutes. They finished the half hitting six of their last seven from the floor as they extended their lead by closing the period outscoring the Lions 15-10 over the final 3:49. 

2nd Half
• Coming out to start the second half, Rivera got things going hitting a pair of layups.
• The Lions started the half 5-6 from the floor, but quickly went cold. 
• ESU scored 10 straight to up their lead to 72-45 as the Lions went 3:12 without scoring. 
• With the writing on the wall, both teams defensive efforts fell by the wayside. The team's combined for 100 points in the second half. GCU was 21-39 for 49 points and ESU scored 51 on 19-39 shooting.
• Georgian Court emptied their bench as Anthony Gooden, Justin Agyare-Nkansah and Thomas Menegus all scored in the closing minutes. 

Lion Stat Leaders
Cam Edmonds finished with 25 points going 7-16 overall and 10-13 at the line. He also came down with five rebounds.
Donavin Crawford scored eight points hitting two three-pointers. 
Jaycen Santucci added 18 points going 8-14 with three blocks and three rebounds.
Amar Lane filled the stat sheet with eight points, seven rebounds, six assists and two blocked shots.
Anthony Rivera scored 10 on 5-9 shooting with two rebounds and three blocks. 
Tesneem Ajeigbe contributed eight points and eight rebounds.

For the Warriors
• Kevin Coleman was 9-12 for 19 points with eight rebounds, both team-bests. 
• Jalen Pichardo scored 10 with four rebounds.
• Adrian Brito went 6-7 for 16 points with six rebounds and six assists. 

News and Notes
• The Lions fall to 0-3 all-time against the Warriors.
• Georgian Court's 84 points are a season-high. 
Anthony Rivera passed out his 50th career assist. 
• The Lions 23 turnovers are the most they've had in a game this season. Their previous high was 16. 
• Georgian Court's best "perfect game" at the foul line was a 9-9 night in 2021 at East Stroudsburg. They started tonight 13-13 giving them 22 straight free throws made at Koehler Fieldhouse.
• In a balanced attack, ESU had 10 score at least seven points and pull down two rebounds.

• After the Thanksgiving holiday, Georgian Court is back at home Saturday, Nov. 29 as they host the College of Staten Island starting at 12 pm.
