LAKEWOOD, NJ (Dec. 11, 2025) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball's hope to start league play 3-0 came to a screeching halt Thursday night at the hands of Jefferson. The Rams led end-to-end, putting the Lions away quickly, 78-57. Georgian Court drops to 2-1 in the CACC and 5-4 overall.
How it Happened
• Not much went right for the Lions who shot just 31.5% from the floor. They took 28 three-point attempts, hitting seven.
• GCU had success at the foul line, hitting 16-of-18.
• Jefferson was just below 50% shooting for the game going 28-57 overall. They were 6-19 from deep and 16-25 at the line.Â
• The Rams had a big day on the glass, coming down with 43 while GCU grabbed 27. The Rams led 8-3 in offensive rebounds and scored six second-chance points. GCU was held scoreless on second-chances.
• Each team committed 17 turnovers. The Rams turned that into 21 points and the Lions scored 20 off giveaways.
• Jefferson was strong in transition scoring 26 fast-break points to Georgian Court's five.
1st Half
• Tied at two, Jefferson broke the tie with a layup and were off and running.
• They scored 12 straight as the Lions went more than four minutes without a point and went up double-digits, 14-2.

Donavin Crawford hit a three to bring the deficit below 10, but a GCU turnover on their next possession and a Ram bucket brought it back to 11 and it stayed in double-figures the rest of the way.
• Jefferson's lead hovered around 15 for a while until the end of the half.

Cam Edmonds was 2-2 at the line with 3:36 to play and those were the Lions final points in the half. Jefferson closed the half on a 9-0 run and led 45-22 at the break.
2nd Half
• Jefferson started the second half with two three-pointers as the Lions scoreless drought went over six minutes between the halves.
• Another 7-0 Ram run gave Jefferson their largest lead of the game, 63-29 with just over 10 minutes left to play.
• Shots started to fall for Georgian Court after that. Over a five minute stretch, the Lions outscored Jefferson 20-5, going 7-10 overall and 3-4 from three.
• That run came about a little too late though and Jefferson pushed the lead back over 20.
Thomas Menegus hit a three just before the buzzer for a 78-57 final score.

Cam Edmonds scored a game-high 16 points going 3-5 overall and 9-10 at the line.

Anthony Rivera scored six points with 10 rebounds.

Jacob Santiago came off the bench and scored eight points in 10 minutes going 3-3 overall and 2-2 from behind the arc.
For the Rams
• Jeremiah Dorsey matched Edmonds with 16 points. He also came up with three rebounds, two assists and four steals.
• Matt McCool finished with a 15-point, 13-rebound double-double.
• Isaiah Thomas-Clain scored just three points, but came down with 10 rebounds and passed out seven assists.Â
• Alex Bates IV and Brendan Mykalcio each scored 14 points.

• The Lions 28 three-point attempts are their most in a game this season.
