LAKEWOOD, NJ (June 26, 2025) - The 2024-25 Helper Helper year-end report was recently announced. Georgian Court University finished third in Division II.
Helper Helper is a volunteer management software platform designed to help organizations manage volunteer recruitment, coordination and tracking of service hours. In conjunction with Helper Helper, the NCAA runs an annual Community Service Competition tracking total volunteer hours, volunteer opportunities, economic impact and participants.Â
Across all of NCAA Division II, Georgian Court finished third in total hours worked. The Lions Women's Basketball team was not only the top Women's Basketball team in Division II, but the number two women's team in the country.
Including Women's Basketball, Georgian Court had seven teams rank in their sport's top-10 and five in the top-five. Men's Lacrosse had the number one ranking among Division II Men's Lacrosse programs, joining Lions Women's Basketball as tops in their sport.
In addition to Women's Basketball and Men's Lacrosse, Women's Soccer finished second, Women's Lacrosse third, Men's Basketball fourth, Men's Track and Field seventh and Women's Track and Field ninth.Â
Division II saw 199,537 volunteer hours worked at 4,334 opportunities. The NCAA as a whole reported 610,216 total hours with 53,941 participants at 18,435 opportunities for an economic impact of 21.2 million dollars.Â
