East Stroudsburg, PA (Sept. 17th, 2025) - Georgian Court Women's Soccer fell 1-0 to the Warriors on the road, their third straight loss to start the season.
How it Happened
• Both teams battled hard in the first half, with strong defenses keeping the score tied 0-0 heading into halftime.
•The Warriors found the net just twelve minutes into the second half to take the lead.
• Despite registering four shots in the second half, the Lions couldn't convert.
First Half
• Both teams played solid defense in the first 45 minutes.
• Georgian Court's Brooke Mckown had four saves in the first half.
• East Stroudsburg's Emmy Clarkson matched that effort, also recording four shots.
Second Half
• ESU's Jade Wiley had the first and only goal of the game.
• The Lions consistently pressured the Warriors in their own half, earning six corner kicks but ultimately failing to find the back of the net.
