NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Oct. 19, 2026) - It took until the fifth race of the season, but Georgian Court freshman Dori O'Halloran finally claimed a CACC Rookie of the Week award.

O'Halloran ran her first collegiate 6K race this past weekend at the Rowan Border Battle. The freshman from Jackson, NJ finished just outside the top-10 in 11th place running 27:03.8. She was both the second finisher from CACC teams and the second freshman to complete the course.

This season, O'Halloran has finished first or second for the Lions in every race. Last week she got into the Lions top-5 all-time for Cross Country in the 5K.

Georgian Court has one meet left before hosting the CACC Championship meet. They'll be on Long Island this coming Friday, Oct. 23 at the Bethpage Short Course Showdown, hosted by Adelphi.
