Five Lions Earn All-CACC Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Nov. 3, 2026) - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced its All-Conference honors, and Georgian Court University women's soccer was represented by five players who made an appearance on the first and second all-conference teams.

The Lions had three different players named to the All-Conference First Team. Foward Chelsea Lavezzo, midfielder Hailey Funkhouser, and defender Erynn Richey all represented Georgian Court on the First Team. Kayla Reed and Seanna Boan were named to the Second Team All-Conference for the CACC. Lavezzo is the only Lion to earn multiple All-CACC awards. Funkhouser, Richey, Reed and Boan are all earning their first All-Conference award.

The five Lions on the All-CACC team are their most since since 2018 when Georgian Court put six on the All-Conference team. This is the fifth time since 2002 that Georgian Court has had at least five members on the All-CACC team.

Last season, Chelsea Lavezzo earned a spot on the All-CACC Second Team after being named CACC Player of the Year during her freshman campaign. Lavezzo has continued to be at the forefront of the Lions offense this season, leading the conference in both goals (11) and points (25). Earlier this season, the junior reached another impressive milestone, becoming just the fifth Lion in the program's Division II era to score 30 career goals.

This is Lavezzo's third All-CACC honor and second First Team. She becomes the eighth Lion since 2002 to earn three All-CACC honors and the first since Erin Wimmer in 2018-19 and 2021. The junior will have the chance to join some incredibly elite company next year and join Kelly Lyons and Denisha Thomas as the only four-time All-CACC award winners in program history.

Also earning First Team honors was senior Hailey Funkhouser, a key piece of the Lions midfield. Funkhouser started and played in all 16 games last season, making an impact that extended beyond the stat sheet. This season, she scored her first career goal and continued to contribute offensively throughout the year. Funkhouser finished the season with three goals and six assists for a total of 12 points. Her six assists ranked second overall in the conference.

Rounding out the First Team honorees was defender Erynn Richey. Richey put together an impressive freshman campaign last season, recording four goals and one assist while playing a key role in the Lions' defense. She continued to be a strong presence on the defensive end this season, helping anchor the Lions' back line. Richey also contributed offensively, finding the back of the net once and adding two assists on the season. Her strong defensive efforts earned her CACC Defender of the Week honors twice this season.

Seanna Boan made her return to the field this season after missing last year due to injury. Boan quickly reestablished herself as a key presence in the Lions' midfield, making an impact on both ends of the field. She finished the season with four goals and five assists, totaling 13 points. Her five assists also ranked fifth overall in the conference. Earlier this season, Boan earned CACC Player of the Week honors after an impressive week in which she recorded two goals and two assists.

Rounding out the All-Conference honorees for the Lions was Kayla Reed, who earned a spot on the All-CACC Second Team. Reed, a senior transfer, put together an impressive offensive season, recording four goals and seven assists for a total of 15 points. Her seven assists led the conference, while her 15 points ranked sixth overall in the CACC. Reed played a key role in the Lions' offensive success throughout the season.

New this season is a Sportsmanship Team. This team is made up of one student-athlete from each school sponsoring the sport and is chosen by the coaching staff as the player who best personifies sportsmanship in their program. Senior Alexis West was selected by Head Coach Jim Moore and his staff.
