Previously vs. Jefferson
• The Lions are 8-21-5 all-time when facing Jefferson.

• Earlier this season, when the two teams met GCU fell 3-2.
• Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Lions responded just four minutes into the second half as Kayla Reed connected with Ella McLaren for the equalizer.

Last Time Out
• The Lions traveled down to Bridgeport for the CACC semi-finals.
• Bridgeport held a commanding advantage in shots, recording 31 attempts with 12 on goal, compared to Georgian Court's seven shots, three of which were on target.
• Despite the advantage on shots after double overtime, the score remained 0-0 and headed into penalty kicks.
• Delaine Wilkinson, who stood strong in goal throughout the match with 12 saves, continued her impressive performance in the penalty shootout, coming up big when the Lions needed her most.
• Wilkinson came up with a crucial save to seal the victory for the Lions, who converted three penalty kicks compared to Bridgeport's two to advance to the CACC Championship.

CACC Tournament
• The biggest difference entering the postseason is the presence of overtime. If the two teams are tied after 90 minutes, there will be two 10-minute overtime periods, with a golden goal deciding the game. If the game is still tied, the match will go to penalty kicks.
• The winner of the CACC Tournament will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA East Regional Tournament.
• The Lions have won three CACC Tournament Titles in program history in the Division II era (2002), with their most recent coming in 2017 when the regular season champions defeated No. 2 seed Wilmington, 4-1. The Lions also hoisted the trophy in 2010 and 2008.
• Their last appearance in the Title Match came back in 2019, a 2-1 loss to top-seeded Jefferson.

News and Notes
• This is the second time the No. 1 seed and the No. 3 seed will meet for the title in the CACC's Division II era (2004). The only other occurrence was in 2005.
• Georgian Court is seeking their 4th CACC Tournament Title (2008, 2010, 2017)
• Overall, this will be the third ever meeting in the championship between the two programs. Aside from 2019, these teams last met in 2008, when Jefferson was known as Philadelphia University. GCU won the program's first title in the Division II era (2002) with a 1-0 win
