NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Feb. 9, 2026) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball senior
Cam Edmonds finishes off an historic week by earning CACC Player of the Week recognition.
Edmonds was the focal point in multiple ways for the Lions last week who went 1-1, capping it off with a captivating second-half comeback win against Bridgeport, 82-77.
In the win, Edmonds led the way scoring a season-high 31 points. He was 8-18 overall in the game and 4-8 from three while also hitting 11-12 free throws.Â
Earlier in the week, Edmonds put his name in the Lions record books becoming Georgian Court's all-time leading scorer. He hit a second-half three at Jefferson to take over the career scoring record and now stands at 1,444 and counting.
In two games, Edmonds averaged 25 points per game shooting 42.3% overall, 50% from three and 80.8% at the free throw line. He also contributed seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and one blocked shot.Â
This is Edmonds' second CACC Player of the Week nod this season and the fifth of his career.Â
Georgian Court is back on the hardwood Wednesday, February 11 playing at Goldey-Beacom. They finish the week back home against Felician.Â
