LYNDHURST, NJ (April 10, 2026) - In a pair of well-pitched baseball games, Georgian Court came up just short in both ends of a doubleheader at Felician. Felician did all their scoring in game one early in a 4-1 win. They flipped that script, scoring late in a 4-3 game two victory.

How it Happened
• Felician scored four times on eight hits while the Lions were held to just a run on four hits.
• The Golden Falcons put the ball in play with just two walks and one strikeout.
• Lion hitters fanned nine times and walked four.
• The first inning for Felician started with back-to-back doubles over the third base bag, the only Golden Falcons extra base hits of the game. That was the start of a four-hit inning that saw Felician score four times.
• The pitchers took over after that. Six straight scoreless innings. Georgian Court got their first base runner in the fourth with
Frankie Noviello's one-out infield single. The Lions put two on in the inning but couldn't bring either in.
• In the eighth is when the Lions finally got on the board. Pinch hitter

Brian Guzman's two-out RBI double.
• GCU left the bases loaded in the inning still trailing 4-1.

Brady Parks after a rough first inning then proceeded to throw seven straight shutout innings. His final line saw him go eight innings allowing four runs on eight hits with a strikeout and two walks.

How it Happened
• Felician knocked 10 hits and scored four runs. They scored 1 run in each of their final four trips to the plate.
• GCU picked up seven hits and scored three times.
• The Golden Falcons again put the ball in play. They didn't strikeout all game and walked three times.
• Georgian Court left seven runners on base.Â
• The Lions made the only error of the game, allowing an unearned run to score.
• A one-out double from
Colby McMahon gave GCU a runner in scoring position and
Brian Guzman cashed in with a two-out single for a 1-0 lead after one.
• Felician tied the game in the third getting a sacrifice fly after a lead off single and a passed ball allowed an unearned run to score.
• In the fourth, the Lions took the lead back. They loaded the bases with nobody out and got an RBI single from
John Smith and a sacrifice fly from
Arian Lunar to take a 3-1 lead.
• Another Felician sacrifice fly in the bottom of the inning brought them within one.
• The Lions had a chance for some insurance in the fifth but left the bases loaded.
• The Golden Falcons tied the game in the home half of the inning getting a single to left and knotting the game at three.
• With two out and two on in the seventh, Felician's Haiden Walters doubled down the left field line scoring the go-ahead run.
• GCU put the tying run on first with one out, but he was caught a little too far off the bag and picked off for the second out of the inning.
