NEW YORK (April 15, 2026) - Georgian Court Women's Basketball senior
Imani Gillette is leaving her mark on the Lions program becoming the first ever to make the Metropolitan Basketball Writer's Association Division II Women's Basketball Team. Gillette earned a spot on the 2026 All-Met Second Team.
The All-Met Division II Women's Basketball Team was selected by members of the Met basketball Writer's Association, which covers teams in the New York Metropolitan and surrounding areas.
Gillette played in 23 games for the Lions this season and led the team in scoring in 15 of those contests. She averaged 15.0 points per game and shot 51.7% from the field, both of which led the Lions. She made the All-CACC Second Team, making the All-Conference team for the first time in her career.
Gillette was also the Lions leading rebounder, averaging 8.4 per game. That included 98 offensive rebounds. Her 4.3 rebounds on the offensive glass were 10th in Division II. Gillette finished her senior campaign setting career-bests with 34 assists, 32 blocks and 20 steals.
For her four year career, Gillette will leave GCU in the top-10 in points scored, field goal percentage, rebounds, and blocked shots.
