LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University basketball squad fell to 0-8 (0-4 CACC) on the campaign with an 83-32 loss to #16 Holy Family University Saturday afternoon in the GCU Wellness Center.
For the second straight game, freshman
Brittany Baker topped the Lions in scoring as she tallied 12 points and seven rebounds in 22 minutes, Junior
Samantha Foley deposited eight points and grabbed eight boards in 29 minutes of action.
Holy Family (5-2, 2-0 CACC) sported two double-digit scorers, which included 18 points from
Samantha Thompson (Gr.-Southampton, PA) and 16 points and a team-high nine rebounds from
Catherine Carr (Sr.-Bernardsville, NJ).
GCU returns to the floor Thursday evening when they host a non-conference contest vs. Elizabeth City State University at 6PM in the Wellness Center.
