PHILADELPHIA- The Georgian Court University basketball team, entering the contest 0-8 away from the GCU Wellness Center, strutted out of the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP) Tuesday night with a 56-45 victory. The win ends a two-game skid for the Lions and keeps them within three games of the final postseason spot.
After dropping the previous 12 meetings vs. the Devils entering the 2009-10 campaign, the Lions (7-14, 5-9 CACC) have now won two straight vs. USP (9-10, 5-7 CACC), including a 67-61 triumph over the conference rival back on January 19th in "The Well."
Georgian Court will be off until Saturday afternoon when they host Felician College at 1PM on National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
