RUTHERFORD, NJ- Felcian College improved to 16-6 (10-5 CACC) and clinched a playoff berth for the first time in five years Saturday afternoon with a 68-48 defeat over visiting Georgian Court University in a CACC contest held in Job Gym.

The Lions fall to 0-24 (0-17 CACC) with the loss.

The Golden Falcons' Quay Baskerville (Sr.-Hartford, CT) collected a double-double with a game-high 18 points and 14 rebounds. Teammate Jaquel Saunders (Fr.-Trenton, NJ) contributed 16 points and a team-leading four assists.

GCU senior Lauren Staats led the Lions with her 15 points while fellow senior Kiki Mayweather dropped in 10 points of her own. Freshman Chinyere Ozuzu snared a team-leading 12 boards.

Georgian Court returns home to host Goldey-Beacom College this Thursday at 6PM in the Wellness Center. The Lions and Lightning will celebrate WBCA Pink Zone Night by wearing assorted pink items in honor of the fight against breast cancer.
