Brittany Baker
Lakewood, NJ- Brittany Baker scorched Wilmington University with a sensational, game-high 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Georgian Court University basketball squad cruised to a 60-42 CACC triumph Thursday evening in the GCU Wellness Center.

The effort marks the second double-double of the season for Baker with both totals representing new season-bests for the Georgian Court guard. The Waldorf, Maryland native shot an outstanding 10-for-14 from the floor in her 30 minutes.

The outcome was never in doubt for the home team as the Lions led from start to finish. Chinyere Ozuzu put an offensive board up and in with 1:22 remaining for GCU's final basket of the contest while giving Georgian Court its largest advantage of the evening (18 points).

GCU (6-19, 5-13 CACC) entered the locker room with a 30-18 lead at intermission before outscoring the Wildcats (2-20, 1-16 CACC), 30-24, in the second stanza.

Tahira Matthews contributed 11 points and five rebounds. Ebony Sellers drained nine points to go along with five steals, five assists, and five rebounds. Ozuzu shot three-for-six from the field as she finished with six points off the GCU bench.
