LAKEWOOD, N.J.- Trailing by a point with 46 seconds remaining, the Georgian Court University women's basketball squad mounted a furious 5-2 run over the final ticks on the clock to avoided a "shocking" upset as the Lions unplugged the Lady Shock of Washington Adventist University, 63-59, in non-conference action Thursday evening at the GCU Wellness Center.
With the triumph, Georgian Court improves to 7-13 while the Lady Shock dip to 3-16.
