Lakewood, N.J.- After a scoreless first half, the Georgian Court University women's soccer squad responded with a pair of goals just 35 seconds apart in the second half to secure an eventual 3-0 victory over #8 Felician University(7-8-2) in Monday's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference quarterfinal round.

The top-seeded Lions(13-4-1) will now host #5 Wilmington University Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the CACC semifinals. The Wildcats upended #4 Philadelphia University, 2-1, to advance.

Morgan Peacock, who netted a hat trick in last year's quarterfinal win vs. Goldey-Beacom College, proved she enjoys the big stage as the senior ran into a Tayler Bramley cross at 57:26 to put GCU ahead, 1-0. The goal marked the second of the season for the Edison, N.J. native.

Seconds later, freshman Michaella Paradiso deposited her third of the season, courtesy of Kaitlin Lister's CACC-best 12th assist at 58:01. Anissia Fucci added the Lions' third-and-final tally of the afternoon at 84:56 as the freshman headed in a Bramley cross for her fourth goal of the year.

Georgian Court owned a commanding 22-7 shot advantage over the visiting Golden Falcons and dominated the corners, 7-3.

Natalie Axelsson earned the first postseason victory of her bright collegiate career as the freshman needed to make just one save in 90 minutes of action.

The Lions last battled Wilmington back on Oct. 4 as GCU suffered a 3-2 defeat to the host-Wildcats.
