Box Score Lakewood, N.J.- The Dominican College men's basketball team visited Georgian Court University Saturday afternoon as the Chargers coasted to an 82-52 victory over the Lions in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.
Dominican (15-9, 10-5 CACC) owned a 39-27 advantage at the half before topping that effort with a 43-25 showing in the second stanza.
Travis Cook (So.-Middletown, N.Y.) paced the victors with 16 points on the afternoon.
Daraja Rodwell (Fr.-Baldwin, N.Y.) and
Gerrel Irvin (Jr.-Bay Shore, N.Y.) contributed 15 and 14 points, respectively, while
Daniel Grant (Fr.-Middletown, N.Y.) and
Ray Pender (Jr.-Bronx, N.Y.) drained 10 apiece.
As for the Lions (1-24, 1-16 CACC),
Nikola Vujovic led the way with his 13 points.
Milos Djeric poured in nine points to complement a team-best nine rebounds.
GCU will close out the home slate this Thursday evening when the Lions host Philadelphia University at 6:00 p.m. Georgian Court will honor seniors
