NEW YORK (April 16, 2026) - For the second straight season, Georgian Court Men's Basketball's
Cam Edmonds was honored by his placement on the Metropolitan Basketball Writer's Association Division II Men's Basketball Team. He earns a spot on the 2026 following another stand out season that saw him make the All-CACC First Team as well.
The All-Met Division II Men's Basketball Team was selected by members of the Met basketball Writer's Association, which covers teams in the New York Metropolitan and surrounding areas.
Edmonds led the CACC in scoring this season at 21.8 points per game and helped guide GCU back to the CACC postseason. He set a career-high playing in 29 games, shooting a career-best 42.6% overall. His 251 made free throws were the most in NCAA Division II this season.
Not only was Edmonds the Lions leading scorer, he led GCU with a career-high 73 assists and averaged 5.1 rebounds per game with 40 steals and eight blocks.
This season, Edmonds became the Georgian Court all-time leading scorer and finishes his career with 1,608 points. His 631 points in 2025-26, are also a GCU single-season high. He'll leave GCU with the Lions record for points in a game (48), season (631) and career (1,608).
