Box Score Lakewood, N.J.- The Chestnut Hill College men's basketball squad secured a 64-50 divisional road victory at Georgian Court University Tuesday evening, snapping a 13-game losing streak in the process. 

The Griffins inch to 5-17 (2-13 CACC) while the hometown Lions see their record slide to 1-23 (1-15 CACC).

Chestnut Hill owned a 21-11 lead at the 8:26 mark of the first half, but GCU erased the deficit and tied the affair after a 12-2 run knotted the score at 23-23 with 5:03 to go before intermission.The Griffins closed out the session with a 9-6 spurt and headed into the locker room up, 32-26.

CHC never trailed in the second half, building a game-high lead of 17 points (52-35) with 8:41 remaining in regulation.

Chris Evans (Jr.-Norristown, Pa.) topped the victors with a double-double effort consisting of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Demterius Issac (Jr.-Philadelphia, Pa.) never left the court for the Griffins, dropping in 16 points over 40 minutes of action.

Nikola Vujovic paced GCU with his 12 points, eight of which came at the charity stripe. Tony Ellington, Jr. followed with 11 points while Juwuan Carter netted 10 in the contest.

Georgian Court will next host Dominican College Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
