Lakewood, N.J. - The Georgian Court University women's basketball squad, coming off its first postseason appearance in 16 years, looks to take advantage of last season's momentum as the team released its 2019-20 schedule Tuesday.

The Lions open the year on Saturday, November 9 by hosting the 2019 Georgian Court Tip-Off Tournament with an NCAA Division II twin-bill. GCU will take on Southern New Hampshire University at 12:00 p.m. in the Wellness Center Arena, followed by Concordia College-NY vs. Assumption College at 2:00 p.m.

The two-day event concludes Sunday when SNHU and Concordia tip off at 12:00 p.m., followed by Georgian Court and Assumption at 2:00 p.m.

After an exhibition contest at Division I Delaware State University on November 16, the Lions will welcome St. Thomas Aquinas College to campus on Wednesday, November 20. GCU travels to Adelphi University (Nov. 26), Kutztown University (Dec. 14) and The College of Saint Rose Tournament (Dec. 21-22) to close out non-conference action. 

The Lions kick off the CACC slate on Tuesday, December 3  when Chestnut Hill College visits the Wellness Center Arena at 6:00 p.m. Jefferson returns to "The Well" on December 19, the rival's first trip to Lakewood since the then-#8 Lady Rams were upset by Georgian Court, 74-73, last February 19. GCU returns the visit to the Jefferson campus, Feb. 18.

In another highlighted conference showdown, the Lions host Caldwell University at noon on January 11. The Lions stunned the Cougars, 80-63, on their home floor for a first-round upset in last season's CACC Championship Tournament quarterfinals.
