Lakewood, N.J. - Head coaches Mike Murawski and Dino Raso collaboratively announced today that Chris Moran of Spotswood, N.J. will be joining the Georgian Court University men's soccer and track & field programs this fall as the newest member of the Lions.

"Chris brings speed, quick dribbling, and true poaching ability around the goal," stated Coach Raso. "He is cut from a similar cloth as his brother, Nick, who will be a senior. I believe having them compete for a spot will improve both of their performances."

A 5'5", 125-lb. striker/midfielder, Moran earned All-Division, All-Conference, and All-State soccer accolades while competing at Spotswood High School.

"We are extremely happy to add Chris to the Georgian Court family in both soccer and track & field," said Coach Murawski. "We are excited to see all of his successes, both on the field and on the track. Chris will compete as a multi-event athlete while a member of the track & field team as he possesses experience in many different events. We believe he will have a great career and cannot wait to start working with him."

An honor roll student at Spotswood, Chris was also an All-District track & field student-athlete for the Chargers. He looks to major in exercise science as he begins his maiden semester next week.
