Lakewood, N.J. - Head coach Dino Raso announced today that Joe Balboni of Cinnaminson, N.J. will be joining the Georgian Court University men's soccer program next fall as the first member of the squad's Class of 2025.

"Joe is a full-blooded defender with excellent qualities," stated Coach Raso. "He is an aggressive and determined player on the pitch and an overall hardworking and disciplined young man. We are thrilled to have him be our first official signing of 2021!"

A 5'10", 170-lb. defender, Balboni not only played three seasons of varsity soccer at Cinnaminson High School, but also three campaigns of varsity volleyball for the Buccaneers. The all-around athlete also competed in wrestling at the junior varsity level.

Looking to major in health sciences once at Georgian Court, Joe decided on GCU because of its "fantastic nursing program, lovely campus, and fun, approachable coaching staff."
