Ryan Roger Snaps Team Shot Put Mark, Lions Collect Eight First-Place Finishes, at Friday's Stockton Osprey Twilight

Galloway, N.J. - Ryan Roger snapped the team shot put record, and the Lions collected eight first-place finishes, as Georgian Court men's track & field closed the regular-season outdoor campaign with a strong showing at Friday's Stockton University Osprey Twilight.

Roger, who placed first overall in the event with a throw of 16.74 meters, erased the previous-high of 16.71m, set back on March 23, 2014 by William Goldsborough. The effort also represents a national-qualifying distance for the junior. The Lions placed 1-2-3 in the triple jump, courtesy of mighty leaps from Jeshurun Devero (14.15m), DaShawn Lamar-Baldwin (13.97m), and Devin Martin (13.88 m). Lamar-Baldwin also shined in the high jump with a second-place height of 1.85m. Dylan Breen finished first in the long jump, clearing 6.86m.
