• These two teams last met in 2019 where the Lions fell 89-70 to the Golden Bears in PA.
• Savawn Hughes and Tian Addison were the only two members of the Lions who played in that game. Hughes scored five points with five rebounds.

• Kutztown is off to a 1-1 start to their season. They took an overtime loss against Bowie State in the opener, then beat Fayetteville State 62-44.
• Last season, Kutztown finished 26-7 and 18-3 in the PSAC. They fell in the PSAC semifinals and were out in the first round of the NCAA Regional.
• The Golden Bears were picked to finish first in the PSAC East Division, taking all possible eight first-place votes. They also ranked 23rd in the preseason D2SIDA national poll.
