New Haven, Conn. - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced Tuesday that the Georgian Court University quartet of
Daniel Burnham,
Billy Germana,
Devin Bell, and
Michael Ventresca have each landed a place on the 2022 CACC Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Team.
The honor represents the first such selection for all four of the Lions chosen.
Burnham, a senior midfielder, lands on the First Team after compiling 34 goals (6th in CACC) and 22 assists (3rd) for a total of 56 points (4th) on the year. The native of Islip Terrace, N.Y. found the back of the net in all but two of GCU's 16 outings this season, 10 of which were multi-goal efforts. Burnham contributed a season-high eight points (five goals, three assists) in a 19-15 home win vs. Molloy College back on March 9.
Daniel, in his four seasons sporting the royal-and-gold, owns 69 goals (46 assists) and 115 total points.
Germana, a senior short-stick defensive midfielder, makes his All-CACC First Team debut after recording 17 ground balls and five caused turnovers during his 15 appearances. The native of Egg Harbor Township, N.J. also secured a goal and three assists on the offensive end, including a tally and a helper in Saturday's 22-5 rout of Dominican College (NY), clinching the Lions the #3 seed in this week's CACC Championship Tournament.
With 23 goals and nine assists over 16 games (14 starts),
Devin Bell represents GCU on the Second Team. The senior attack from Calgary, Alberta authored seven multi-goal games, ending the regular-season with a campaign-best four goals and two aiders in Saturday's win.
Ventresca, having tallied a team-high 38 goals on the year (4th in CACC), lands on the Second Team as a midfielder. A senior out of Hamburg, N.Y., Michael scored a goal in all but one of the Lions' 16 showings, five of which included three or more scoring efforts. Ventresca connected for a season-best six goals in a win vs. Molloy last month.
