Noah Roach and
Jan Volkmar contributed record-breaking performances in the regular-season finale TCNJ Lions Invitational, while 10 different student-athletes represented the royal-and-gold Friday in the prestigious Penn Relays, as Georgian Court University men's track and field now sets its focus on next week's 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Outdoor Championships.
Roach, with his fifth-place time of 22.20 seconds in the 200m Dash, erases the previous team-high of 22.40, established by Emeron Hernandez-Mayers back on Apr. 17, 2019 at the Shippensburg University Invite. Volkmar breaks his own program record (4.75m) in the Pole Vault with a second-place height of 4.85 meters. The freshman phenom established his original high-water mark on March 26 at the Monmouth University Home Opener.
Robbie Babson enjoyed a solid showing in the Shot Put with second-place mark of 16.00 meters.
Dylan Breen landed a third-place leap of 6.79 meters in the Long Jump.
