Men's Basketball Returns to the Court Tomorrow Night

LAKEWOOD, NJ (Nov. 17, 2023) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball gets back on the floor this weekend in another home game Saturday night.

Previously vs. Kutztown
• Last year was the first time these two programs met.
• GCU went on the road and defeated the Golden Bears 76-70.
Clint Wright, Jr. scored a game-high 19 going 3-5 from three.
Justin Soranno was 6-8 off the bench for a season-high 12 points. 

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court opened their season against nationally ranked Bentley last weekend.
• GCU hung around with the Falcons into the second half, but Bentley pulled away late in an 86-61 win.
• Three Lions were in double-figures led by Clint Wright, Jr.'s 15.

Clint Wright, Jr. is second in the CACC shooting 60% from three and with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 4:1.
Amari Jones is third in the league with seven defensive rebounds per game. He's also sixth in rebounds per game.
Donavin Crawford's 62.5% shooting percentage is fourth in the conference.
• The Lions have the second-fewest turnovers per game at 12.0. 

About Kutztown
• Kutztown is off to a 1-2 start this season.
• The Golden Bears played earlier in the week against another CACC foe, falling 89-70 at Jefferson.
• In the PSAC East Division, Kutztown was picked to finish seventh among nine teams in the division. They were 11-17 last season and 10-12 in conference.
• The Golden Bears ended last season on a six-game winning streak. They return five from last year's roster and have nine newcomers, eight freshmen.
