Women's Basketball Wraps Up Homestand Tomorrow Night

LAKEWOOD, N.J. (Feb. 7, 2023) - We're entering the final stretch of CACC Basketball with just five games remaining in the regular season.

Previously vs. Goldey-Beacom
• Earlier this season these two teams met in Wilmington. The Lightning stormed out to a 15-0 lead going on to win 84-71.
• The Lions tried to make things close late, scoring 30 fourth-quarter points, but Lightning lead was too much.
• Erika Aspajo led the team with a season-best 26 points on 10-21 shooting. She had a complete day with seven assists, five rebounds and four steals as well.
• Savawn Hughes added 19 points with eight rebounds.
• Leah Snisky and Imani Gillette each scored eight. Gillette grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds.
• Precious Adediran chipped in seven points and four rebounds.

Last Time Out
• Playing at home against Dominican, the Chargers led end-to-end defeating the Lions 63-56. 
• Domincan led by as much as 14 in the fourth quarter before the Lions brought it back down to nine, but it wasn't enough in the end.
• Tian Addison scored a game-high 17 points going 7-14 from the floor and 2-5 from three. She also grabbed four rebounds and passed out three assists.
• Savawn Hughes was also in double-figures scoring 10. She was a rebound shy of a double-double.
• Three Lions scored nine points: Jariah PattersonA'nyah Barker and A'nya Harper. Barker also had seven rebounds, four assists and four steals.

• In three games, A'nyah Barker has scored at least nine in each. She's also totaled 18 rebounds, 14 assists and eight steals. 
• Jariah Patterson is averaging 15 points per game over her last five. 
• Tian Addison is shooting 52% from the floor in her last three contests. 
• Savawn Hughes has at least six rebounds in nine straight contests and has scored in double-figures in four straight.

• We are down to just five game remaining in the regular season for the Lions. 
• In the CACC South Division, which sees the top-four teams making the CACC Tournament, the Lions are one game behind Wednesday's opponent Goldey-Beacom for fourth place. 
• GCU lost to the Lightning at their place in December. 
• The top two teams in the division, Jefferson and Holy Family, have already clinched playoff berths. With one more win, Chestnut Hill will clinch a berth as well.

Goldey-Beacom Lightning

• Goldey-Beacom is one game up on GCU at 6-6 in the CACC.
• They've won four of their last six, but are just 1-7 playing on their road, with their first win coming this past Saturday at Felician.
• The Lightning are the top three-point shooting team in the league connecting at 34.5% while making an average of 7.3 per game.
• At 69.4 points per game, Goldey-Beacom as the No. 2 offense in the CACC. In addition to their outside shooting, the Lightning average the second-most free throw attempts per game.
• Three Lions are in double-figures led by Alexis Harrison. She scores just over 12 points per game having made 74 free throws.
• Rory Ciszkowski is the best in the league from downtown connecting at 50% (54-108). The freshman has reached double-figures in seven of her last eight games. 
• Goldey-Beacom forces nearly 20 turnovers per game, number three in the CACC, but give it up more than 18 times themselves.
