LAKEWOOD, NJ (Nov. 22, 2024) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball dedicated some of their time last week to the Lakewood Oak Street School. The Lions put on a basketball clinic for the 5th and 6th grade boys as a part of Georgian Court's "Lakewood United" initiative.
A handful of players and coaches took part in offering instruction about the game of basketball while providing a caring and energetic experience for the students.
Lakewood Public Schools Assistant Principal said the students were "on cloud nine for the remainder of the day."
Coach Fedor called it "a rewarding experience for the guys to get the chance to serve in a mentor-role to others. We look forward to having more opportunities to work closely with the Lakewood community."
