LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 17, 2024) - Georgian Court Men's Lacrosse put a program record three student-athletes on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) 2024 All-Region team. Prior to this season, the Lions had only had four named All-Region in seven years.
Redshirt sophomore
Brett Bridges, sophomore
Vincent Burkhart and senior
Kyle Harms all made the USILA All-North Region Honorable Mention Team. It's the first All-Region recognition for all three.Â

Bridges made the All-CACC First Team for the second consecutive season. He led the team with a new single-season school record 49 goals and added 19 assists to go with those 49 goals for 68 points, second most in Lions history. Bridges also helped out with 30 ground balls and six caused turnovers. Within the CACC, Bridges finished third in goals and fifth in points. He scored at least one point in all 17 games and had 11 multi-goal games.Â

Burkhart was also a two-time All-CACC selection this season. He turned in another terrific season with a 9-8 record in net. He finished the year making 202 saves with a .530Â save percentage and allowing 11.32Â goals against average. Burkhart made double-digit saves in 12 games and has allowed 10 goals or fewer in eight.Â

Harms can add his first All-Region award to his first All-CACC award from his senior season. He played in all 17 games and set a new career-best with 53 ground balls. He's just the sixth Lion to ever pick up 50 or more ground balls in a single season. He picked up at least one ground ball in 16 of 17 games and has also caused eight turnovers.Â
