Lions Go For Three in a Row Saturday vs. Kutztown

LAKEWOOD, NJ (Nov. 21, 2025) - Georgian Court is off to a 2-1 start on the season and go for their third straight win at home this Saturday.

Previously vs. Kutztown
• This will be the fourth straight season the Lions and Golden Bears meet.
• Georgian Court won the first two and lead 2-1 all-time.
• Kutztown got the better of GCU last season in Kutztown, 83-71.
• Three Lions were in double-figures with Cam Edmonds' 21 leading the way. Donavin Crawford scored 17 hitting three three-pointers.
• In one of the most dramatic wins in program history, GCU defeated Kutztown 70-67 two years ago. Clint Wright, Jr. beat the buzzer with a three to pull off the win.

Individual Milestones
• Donavin Crawford is four rebounds away from 100.
• One more game played will bring Taheen Braswell-Brown to 50. 
Cam Edmonds is 18 minutes away from playing 2000. 

Who's Hot?
• Cam Edmonds is up to 27 straight games with at least 10 points. Caleb Bowser has the longest such streak, 31 straight from January, 2019 - February, 2020. 
• Jaycen Santucci picked up his first career double-double in the Lions win over Saint Michael's. He has at least 10 points in all three games this season. 
• Anthony Rivera set the Lions single-season field goal percentage record in 2023-24. He's picked right back up after missing the 2024-25 season shooting 56.3% through the first three.
Donavin Crawford has at least two three-pointers in all three games this season and is shooting 42% from behind the arc. 

CACC Leaders
• Georgian Court is up at the top of the league in a couple of defensive categories.
• Their five blocks per game are second in the conference and are 25th nationally.
• Georgian Court is also third in field goal percentage defense as teams are shooting 42%.
• The Lions are forcing the fifth-most turnovers in the CACC and their transition offense is third in the CACC, averaging 18 fast-break points per game.
• Tesneem Ajeigbe's three blocks per game ranks seventh in all of Division II.
• Cam Edmonds is second in the CACC scoring 22.7 points per game. 
• Donavin Crawford is fifth in the CACC connecting on 42% of his three-pointers.
Jaycen Santucci's 25 rebounds are fifth in the conference. 

Awards and Milestones
• Following his first week at GCU, Jaycen Santucci was named the CACC Rookie of the Week.
• Cam Edmonds hit a pair of milestones last week. He became the sixth Lion to ever score 1,000 career points, doing so in the season opener.
• The next day, Edmonds set a new GCU all-time record in free throws made, currently standing at 309 and counting. 

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC will have a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams.
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.  

About Kutztown
• Kutztown's season got underway Wednesday night against Division III Penn State Schuylkill.
• The Golden Bears had a dominating performance in a 117-68 win. Eleven different Golden Bears scored at least two points.
• As a result, Kutztown is the current Division II leader in field goal percentage as they shot 63.2% for the game and were 15-30 from three. 
• The Golden Bears have back in the fold their leading scorer Jalen Bryant. He scored 29 against the Lions last season and averaged 19.7 for the season.
• Kutztown was picked to finish eighth in the PSAC East this season.
• They are under the direction of interim head coach Tom York. He's no stranger to Kutztown though, having served Golden Bears Men's Basketball for 25 years. York was also the Kutztown women's coach from 1987-94. 
• In addition to Bryant, the Golden Bears bring back seniors Kameron Roberts and Jordan Nkoa Abessolo.
