Previously vs. Jefferson
• Georgian Court has one previous win against Jefferson in their history.
• That came three seasons ago in 2022-23. All-time GCU is 1-21
• There were a lot of similarities between then and now. Georgian Court was also 2-0, looking to move to 3-0 in the CACC and it was a December game in Lakewood.

Justin Soranno were the only current Lions to play in that game. Clint Wright, Jr. and Jamaal Waters each scored 21.
• Last season, GCU let Jefferson have their way in their home gym as the Rams won 86-50.
• Later in Philadelphia the Lions played a much tighter contest. GCU led at the half and were still up with less than two minutes to play before Jefferson took the lead for good in a 62-55 win.

Cam Edmonds is second in the CACC averaging 22.8 points per game. He's also leading the league and D2 with both 76 free throws and 96 free throw attempts.

Jaycen Santucci is fourth in the league shooting 51.2% overall.

Donavin Crawford sits eighth in the CACC with 16 made three-pointers.

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC will have a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams.
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.
Conference Openers
• Georgian Court won their CACC opener last week against Holy Family and followed that with a win at home against Caldwell.
• Every time the Lions have won a conference opener, they've also won their second league game to start the CACC season 2-0.
• In both of those years prior to this year, 2019-20 and 2022-23, GCU also made the CACC Tournament.
About Jefferson
• Jefferson comes to Lakewood 4-4 overall and still in search of their first road win of the season.
• The Rams are 4-2 at home but 0-2 as a visitor.
• In conference, Jefferson is 1-2 and most recently lost at home to Bridgeport, who GCU sees on Saturday.
• Jefferson is shooting 46.5% overall, second-best in the CACC. They also move the ball well and their 17.1 assists per game are also second in the league.
