Cam Edmonds and Justin Soranno were the only current Lions to play in that game. Clint Wright, Jr. and Jamaal Waters each scored 21.
• Last season, GCU let Jefferson have their way in their home gym as the Rams won 86-50.
• Later in Philadelphia the Lions played a much tighter contest. GCU led at the half and were still up with less than two minutes to play before Jefferson took the lead for good in a 62-55 win.
Cam Edmonds scored 22 and Donavin Crawford hit four three-pointers in the loss.
