Men's Basketball Wraps Up 2025 at Home vs. Queens

LAKEWOOD, NJ (Dec. 19, 2025) - There's one final game left on the 2025 calendar for Georgian Court Men's Basketball. They host Queens this weekend as they put a bow on the calendar year.

Previously vs. Queens
• These teams have met six times previously and Georgian Court holds a 4-2 record against the Knights.
• Last season in Flushing, the Lions defeated Queens for what was Head Coach Dave Fedor's first win with GCU.
• The five-point win was highlighted by Cam Edmonds' 33-point effort where he was 9-15 overall, 5-9 from three and 10-11 at the line. 
Taheen Braswell-Brown secured 10 rebounds and seven points in the win. 
• The Lions are 2-1 all-time against Queens when playing at home. 

Individual Milestones
• Anthony Rivera needs two points to reach 300.
• Donavin Crawford needs two three-pointers to hit 100 and would be the fifth Lion to do so. 
• Amar Lane and Tesneem Ajeigbe are both already in the Lions single-season top-10 for blocked shots. Lane has swatted 22 while Ajeigbe has 17. The Lions single season record stands at 31.
• Lane also needs one more point to hit 50. 

Who's Hot?
• Anthony Rivera has scored in double-figures in back-to-back games for the first time this season. He's also averaging 10.67 rebounds over his last three games. 
• Cam Edmonds had another 25+ point game, his seven of the season, at Pace.
• Amar Lane reached double-figures for the first time this season scoring 12 points at Pace. He was 8-10 at the line. 
Jaycen Santucci is averaging 13.5 points over his last two games. 

Double Dipping
• Cam Edmonds has scored at least 10 points in 35 straight games.
• That broke Caleb Bowser's record from January, 2019-February, 2020 of 31 straight games. 

Frequent Flyers
• Each of the Lions last four games have been played in different states. That streak ends Saturday at home against Queens. 
• Before Saturday, their last four games were played in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut and New York. 
• That's actually happened a number of times in program history, including a stretch of five straight games playing in Florida, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts in 2018-19. 

CACC Leaders
• Georgian Court is up at the top of the league in a couple of defensive categories.
• Their five  blocks per game are second in the league and are 16th nationally. 
• Georgian Court is leading the CACC in field goal percentage defense as teams are shooting 41.7%.
• Led by Cam Edmonds, GCU's 21.4 free throws made per game are first in the CACC and fifth in the country. They also lead the CACC hitting 74.6% at the line. 
• Amar Lane leads the league with 22 blocks and 2.20 per game. Tesneem Ajeigbe is fourth with 17 and 1.55. 
• Cam Edmonds is second in the CACC averaging 22.7 points per game. He's also leading the league and D2 with both 114 free throws made and 141 free throw attempts.
• Donavin Crawford sits ninth in the CACC with 19 made three-pointers.
• Anthony Rivera's 6.8 rebounds per game are sixth in the CACC. 
Jaycen Santucci is just outside the top-10 with 66 rebounds. He's also eighth with 37 made free throws. 

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC will have a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams. 
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.  

About Queens
• Georgian Court and Queens have at least one thing in common. Their most recent loss was against Pace.
• GCU, Queens and Pace have had themselves a little round-robin tournament this week. The Setters defeated both teams, taking down the Knights in Queens, 72-67.
• That dropped Queens to 3-7 on the season. Playing on the road the Knights are just 1-3.
• It was actually the second time Queens played Pace this season. The Knights took down Pace opening weekend, 65-59.
• Queens has the best turnover margin in the ECC at +1.5. Their 13 turnovers per game are the fewest in the league.
• The Knights are allowing 80 points per game this season and opponents are shooting 48%.
• The offense which scores 72 points per game is led by Tahj-Malik Campbell who's scoring 20.4 points per game. He's also the team's leading rebounder pulling down nine per contest. 
• On the glass, Queens is being outrebounded by 4.5 per game.
