KANSAS CITY, Mo. (July 17, 2025) - This afternoon the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) came out with their 2024-25 academic awards. The NABC awarded those student-athletes who made their Honors Court, representing achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball teams and individual players.
The NABC Honors Court, recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball. This year, more than 2,400 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court.
"Education is one of the NABC's five core values, and we are proud to recognize the academic accomplishments of these programs and individual student-athletes across our sport," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "The dedication and hard work of these athletes, along with their coaches and support staff members who prioritize academic success, deserves to be widely celebrated."
Georgian Court had four members from their 2024-25 team make the Honors Court.
Charles Anyichie is an academic senior with a 3.89 GPA in Finance.
Cam Edmonds is a junior Business Administration major. He became the Lions first All-East Region selection this past season.
Brothers Caleb and
Malek Mims finished their first season at Georgian Court this year. They're both Business Administration majors. Caleb has a 3.48 GPA as a junior while Malek a 3.48 GPA as a senior.
