NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 30, 2025) - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) released their 2024-25 Winter Academic Awards announcing members of the Men's Basketball All-Academic Team.  

The Lions saw three earn a spot. In order for individuals to qualify for the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have completed a minimum of two semesters at their current institution with a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.50. They must also be a second-year student-athlete and have used a season of NCAA competition during the current season. 

Justin Soranno makes the team for the second straight year while Charles Anyichie and Jacob Santiago earn their first.

Anyichie is a junior academically with a 3.89 GPA in Finance. Soranno is also a junior with a 3.76 GPA in Exercise Science. Santiago is a sophomore studying Finance and has a 3.75 GPA.
