Last Time Out
• The Lions started their season last week, competing at the West Chester Season Opener.
• Georgian Court had the women place third among five teams and the men fourth out of six.

Zachary Spoonire was the men's leader running 17:30.9 for the 5K race.
• The women also ran a 5K with
Gwendolyn Morris running 22:46.6 to pace the Lions.
Previously at the Kutztown Challenge
• The Lions competed in this race a year ago.
• The men were led by
Nolan Kus who ran 27:30.41 over 8K to finish in 24th place.

Ryan Pettrow and
Joe Jamolawicz also finished in the top-100.
• The women were led by
Amirah Beasley's 27:56.74 for 6,000m.
• GCU had just four finish on the women's side, not enough for team scoring.
Brenna Sullivan and
Samantha Lonseth are the only ones on the 2025 roster to run at this meet last year for the Lion women.
Meet History
• The Kutztown DII/DIII Challenge is an annual race held for more than a decade.
• The meet features a host of Division II teams, mostly from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
• Last year's men's race was won by Shippensburg who had a perfect score with the top five finishers. Shippensburg also won the women's side, besting Kutztown by just two points.
• The Farm Course has hosted numerous NCAA conference championship meets and is a fair and challenging course.
