LAKEWOOD, NJ (Jan.12th, 2026) - Georgian Court presents this week's Kessler Athlete of the Week awards to Women's Basketball Tyra Lovelock and Men's Track Cameren Anderson.  

Kessler is the official physical therapy partner of Georgian Court Athletics. Their team of movement experts will be on campus to provide athletic training services to the student-athletes. ⁣With over 10 physical therapy centers in the surrounding community, students, faculty, and staff can experience the power of physical therapy close to campus.

Lovelock scored 14 points for the Lions in their win over Dominican. She shot 4-for-6 from three-point range, with three of those triples coming in the final quarter. Her final three-pointer gave the Lions the lead over Dominican and sealed the victory.
 

Anderson recorded two top-five finishes this weekend, setting personal bests in both events. He led GCU with a fifth-place finish in the shot put (51-5.75), a mark that leads the ECC by nearly four feet and ranks sixth all-time in Lions history. He also placed eighth in the weight throw with a personal-best 54-3.75, good for third all-time at GCU and second in the ECC.
