Philadelphia, PA - Sorgenti Arena

When
Wednesday, January 14 - 8 pm

How to Watch

Previously vs. Chestnut Hill
• All-time the Lions are 6-16 playing against Chestnut Hill.
• On the road, they're just 2-9.
• These two teams split the series last year with the home team winning each.
• GCU started with an 81-66 win at home thanks in part to a 40-23 first half output.
• While 13 players scored for Chestnut Hill, no one was in double-figures. Georgian Court had four reach at least 10 points led by Cam Edmonds' 20.
• It was a different story on the road. Georgian Court struggled in the first half scoring just 15 and getting down 30-15 through 20 minutes.
Taheen Braswell-Brown led GCU in the 76-64 loss with 18 points.

Individual Milestones
• Jaycen Santucci is six points shy of 200 and two rebounds away from 100.
Justin Soranno needs four more field goals to make 100.
• Anthony Rivera is nine away from 200.
Taheen Braswell-Brown needs eight points to reach 400.
Cam Edmonds will move to fifth all-time in field goals made with two more.

Who's Hot?
• Cam Edmonds is the reigning CACC Player of the Week after back-to-back 20+ point games last week. He was 8-12 against Dominican, a career-best shooting percentage when attempting at least 10 shots.
• Jaycen Santucci earned his third CACC Rookie of the Week honor of the season. He had a double-double against Goldey-Beacom then poured in 21 with seven rebounds against Dominican.
Amar Lane has seven blocked shots in his last two games.
• Eli Nix played a season-high 31 minutes against Dominican and passed out six assists.
• Kam Waters is averaging eight points per game in his last two and is 4-10 from three.

Double Dipping
• Cam Edmonds has scored at least 10 points in 39 straight games.
• That broke Caleb Bowser's record from January, 2019-February, 2020 of 31 straight games.

Block Party
• The Lions individual single-season record for blocked shots has already been broken this season.
Amar Lane swatted his 32nd block, needing just 14 games to set a new single-season record.
• As a team, Georgian Court has 80 blocks this season and is closing in on the team record of 91 set in 2014-15.

CACC Leaders
• Georgian Court is up near the top of the league in a couple of defensive categories.
• Their 5.3 blocks per game are tops in the CACC and eighth in Division II.
• Georgian Court is also third in the CACC in field goal percentage defense as teams are shooting 42.7% from the floor.
• Led by Cam Edmonds, GCU's 19.7 free throws made per game are first in the CACC and 10th in the country. They also are third in the CACC hitting 73% at the line.
• In transition, GCU is scoring 14.2 fastbreak points per game, second in the CACC.
• On the glass, the Lions 26 defensive rebounds per game are third in the league.
• Amar Lane leads the league with 32 blocks and 2.29 per game. Tesneem Ajeigbe is fifth with 18 and 1.50.
• Cam Edmonds leads the CACC scoring 22.5 points per game which ranks sixth nationally. He's also got the most free throws made and attempted in Division II.
Jaycen Santucci has moved up to eighth in total rebounds in the CACC. Anthony Rivera is eighth in rebounds per game.

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC will have a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams.
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.
• Georgian Court is finished with their nonconference slate. From here on out, they'll be playing only CACC games.

About Chestnut Hill
• Just like Georgian Court, Chestnut Hill is 3-4 on the year in the CACC.
• They're 5-9 overall and have been a much different team at home vs. on the road.
• Playing at home, the Griffins are 5-1. They're 0-8 playing anywhere but Sorgenti Arena.
• CHC leads the CACC in fewest fouls per game, averaging just 15.8.
• That's helped them to the No. 3 team in the CACC in scoring defense allowing 75.2 points per game.
• They need their defense to hold up as they're scoring the fewest points in the league at 70.3.
• While their shooting percentages are in the middle of the pack and fourth from behind the arc, Chestnut Hill turns the ball over more than any other team, giving it away almost 16 times per game.
• Individually, most of their offense comes from senior center Alejandro Redondo Cybak. He's scoring a team-best 13.9 points per game and is nearly averaging a double-double with 9.6 rebounds.
• CHC is relying on two freshmen, Amari Dow and Jeremiah Gorham for offense. They're each scoring 12.4 points per game. Gorham has five straight 10+ point game and is shooting 52% overall and 39% from three.
