Previously vs. Bridgeport
• This is Bridgeport's fourth year in the CACC and its the fifth game between these two teams.
• Georgian Court won the very first at home in 2022-23, but have since dropped three straight.
• This is the Lions first game at home against Bridgeport since the 2022-23 season.Â
• Back in December, Bridgeport picked up a 96-83 win over the Lions at home.
• Georgian Court had a small, 42-41 lead at the half but couldn't hold on as Bridgeport scored 55 second-half points shooting 55%.

• Georgian Court is up near the top of the league in a couple of defensive categories.
• Their 4.8 blocks per game are tops in the CACC and 12th in Division II.Â
• Georgian Court is also fifth in the CACC in field goal percentage defense as teams are shooting 44% from the floor.

Cam Edmonds, GCU's 19.3 free throws made per game are leading the CACC and are 10th in the country. They also are fifth in the CACC hitting 71.1% at the line.Â
• On the glass, the Lions have moved to fifth in the CACC with 36.67 rebounds per game.Â

Amar Lane leads the league with 45 blocks and 2.25 per game. He's 15th nationally in both categories.

Tesneem Ajeigbe is also in the top-10 in the CACC in total blocks and blocks per game.Â

Cam Edmonds leads the CACC scoring 20.8 points per game which ranks 20th nationally. He's also got the most free throws made and attempted in Division II.Â

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC will have a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams.Â
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road. Â
• Georgian Court is finished with their nonconference slate. From here on out, they'll be playing only CACC games.Â
• The Lions have completed their first half of the CACC schedule, going 3-7. Everyone plays each opponent once before seeing a team for a second time.Â
About Bridgeport
• Bridgeport has struggled lately dropping six of their last seven to fall to 9-11 overall, 6-7 in the CACC.
• The Purple Knights are the best rebounding teams in the country. They come down with an NCAA-best 43.6 rebounds per game and are a +5.6 on the glass.Â
• They're also outstanding on the offensive boards with 16.05 offensive rebounds per game, third most in the country.Â
• All those offensive rebounds come at a price though, which is missed shots. They're shooting 42.9% overall which is next to last in the league.
• UB's offense is scoring 78.1 points per game. They have two averaging double-figures led by Zay Sullivan's 17.6 points per game.
• Sullivan is also the among the league-leaders from behind the arc. He's hit 47 this season and is shooting 34.6% from distance.Â
• The Purple Knights have struggled at the foul line where they're shooting just 66.4% for the season. That is despite Sullivan shooting 80.8%, third-best in the CACC.Â
• Bridgeport is having problems holding onto the ball. They turn it over 14.4 times per game and their -1.1 turnover margin is 10th in the league.Â
