• Samir Lopez got the win throwing 3.1 shutout innings in relief.

• The Purple Knights though put up four in the top of the eighth to secure an 8-4 win.

• GCU saw some strong pitching performances at Lincoln.

• Donovan Gevers also threw the ball well, with the same line, 5.1 innings, two runs, as Corso.
• The offense though couldn't come through, especially with runners on base. GCU stranded 18 runners in the doubleheader as Lincoln (PA) won both ends.

• Ryan Baldwin leads the team hitting .438 this season. The freshman catcher has appeared in eight games.
• The staff has a team ERA of 10.94, but have some strong arms in Alex Bulger and Tyler Hodella who are both 1-1 on the year.
