Busy Week Ahead For Georgian Court Baseball

LAKEWOOD, NJ (March 20, 2026) - Six games are on tap for Georgian Court Baseball this week starting with three in the middle of the week.

Weather Notes
• The game against Lincoln is a makeup from their scheduled series two weeks ago. 
• Early forecasts show dry and cloudy days Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday temperatures could reach the 70s. 
• Things are cooler for the road doubleheader Wednesday at Caldwell with temps in the low 50s. 

Previously vs. Caldwell
• In four games last season against the Cougars, GCU went 1-3.
• They won the very first game of the series, 7-6, but dropped the next three.
• The games were on the lower side scoring wise as neither team scored 10 runs in any of the four games.
• The first two were one-run games with the teams splitting a doubleheader in Caldwell.
• Georgian Court scored two in the eighth and took a lead on Tomas Tamargo's game-winning single.
• Joseph Voli pitched all nine innings, throwing 136 pitches to earn the win. 

Previously vs. Lincoln
• These two teams met back on March 15 in Lincoln University, PA.
• The Lincoln Lions swept a doubleheader, 10-3 and 3-2.
• Tied at two going into the last and final inning, GCU walked the first four that came to bat and the winning run came in to score in the one-run loss.
• Evan Corso threw the first six innings of that game allowing two runs on four hits with five strikeouts.

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court played a three-game weekend set with Holy Family.
• The Tigers had two eight-run innings in both games at GCU, winning 12-1 and 10-7.
• GCU nearly mounted a big comeback in game two after trailing 8-0 and 9-1 to get the go-ahead run on base, but HFU escape with a 10-7 win.
• A back-and-forth game three saw Holy Family score last in a 9-7 Tigers win. They plated three in the eighth to complete the weekend sweep. 

Who's Hot?
• Frankie Noviello has four multiple hit games in his last six. 
• Brian Guzman is 5-8 in his last two games with four runs scored. 
• JR Osmond had a hit in each game of the series with HFU and two home runs and five RBI. 

CACC Stat Leaders
• As a team, Georgian Court is fifth in the league with 11 home runs. 
• GCU is being patient at the plate drawing the fourth-most walks and their 5.8 walks per game are the most in the CACC. 
• Oliver Santana's 15 stolen bases are tied for the CACC lead. 
• Donovan Gevers has the sixth most innings pitched. 
• Samir Lopez is tied for eighth in strikeouts looking.

About the Opponents
Caldwell

• Between Georgian Court and Caldwell, someone is going to get their first CACC win. They Cougars are 0-10 to start league play, 1-14 overall.
• The Cougars schedule has done them no favors as they've faced CACC powers Post, Goldey-Beacom, Dominican and Wilmington so far this season, four of the top-five teams in the league.
• Run-prevention has been a problem for Caldwell thus far. They've got a staff ERA upwards of 10.00.
• Jonathan Gambone has been their most effective starter with a 7.08 ERA in 20.1 innings with 15 strikeouts. The junior allowed two runs in six innings Saturday against Wilmington.
• The offense is hitting .257, led by Justin Levine and hit .455 average.
• Chris Hopf has a team-best four home runs. He and Levine have combined to drive in 20 runs this season.

Lincoln (PA)
• After sweeping GCU in a doubleheader, Lincoln has lost three straight.
• They're 5-11 overall and 2-5 in the CACC, with their only league wins coming against Georgian Court. 
• Lincoln has some guys that can hit the ball. Jaden Greenidge is batting .419 with 18 hits in 43 at bats.
• Defense has been the team's best asset as their .967 fielding percentage is the best in the CACC.
• Greenidge also has a 4.32 ERA on the mound with 15 strikeouts in 11.2 innings.
