• In four games last season against the Cougars, GCU went 1-3.
• They won the very first game of the series, 7-6, but dropped the next three.

• GCU had a chance to win game one but gave up four in the seventh and three in the eighth as Caldwell came back for an 11-9 win.
• Game two was a wild one with the Cougars getting out to a 16-0 lead before the Lions had a hit.
• GCU fought back made it a four run-game, before falling 18-12 in seven innings. 
• Arian Lunar hit .600 going 3-5 and walked once with a stolen base.
• Brian Guzman and Jack Greenspan each drove in four runs.

• Georgian Court played a three-game series with Dominican.
• The teams split a doubleheader Saturday before the Chargers won the series Sunday.
• Georgian Court used a seven-run fifth inning to come back for an 11-8 win in game two of Saturday's doubleheader.

Caldwell
• Caldwell is playing their best baseball of the season thus far. 
• They've won four of their last five after taking 2-3 at Holy Family to improve to 4-11 in the CACC. 
• Run-prevention has been a problem for Caldwell, but they allowed just 11 runs in three games against the Tigers.
• Shawn Fraumeni and Johnny Amato got starts last Wednesday against GCU and might be on track to pitch again tomorrow. Fraumeni has been the more effective of the two with a 7.00 ERA in nine innings.
• The offense is heating up as well hitting .269, led by Justin Levine and hit .447 average, second in the CACC. 
• Chris Hopf has a team-best five home runs. He and Levine have combined to drive in 37 runs this season, including eight in last week's doubleheader against the Lions.
• The Cougars are averaging 2.5 stolen bases per game. Izaiah Robinson, Christian Rinick and Stephen Young have 28 of the team's 54, so it's important to keep them off the bases.
