Previously vs. Goldey-Beacom
• Georgian Court has not had a good history with Goldey-Beacom.
• The Lions got their first ever win over the Lightning in the 2022-23 season, but are just 1-23 all-time.
• That win came on the road, a 70-62 triumph.Â
• The Lightning have gotten the better of GCU in each of the last seven matchups, including twice this season.Â

Cam Edmonds set a new Georgian Court record scoring 48 points, going 22-28 at the line. But the Lions fell 90-84.
• Earlier this season, GCU trailed by three at the break in Lakewood, but the Lightning pulled away in the second for a 99-85 win. GBC shot 59% overall in the second half. Edmonds led the Lions with 26 points.Â
• GCU was down 47-39 at halftime on the road this season. They were unable to get closer than to within three in a 10-point loss, 89-79. Edmonds again scored 26.Â

• Georgian Court is also fourth in the CACC in field goal percentage defense as teams are shooting 43.7% from the floor.
• GCU is scoring the fifth-most fastbreak points in the conference at 11.3 per game.Â

Amar Lane leads the league with 58 blocks and 2.15 per game. He's 19th nationally in both categories.Â

Tesneem Ajeigbe is also sixth in the CACC in total blocks and blocks per game.Â

Cam Edmonds leads the CACC scoring 21.4 points per game which ranks 11th nationally. He's also got the most free throws made and attempted in Division II.Â
• Edmonds is one of four active players in Division II with at least 500 made free throws. He ranks fourth in Division II and 12th in all three NCAA divisions in made free throws among active players.

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC had a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams.Â
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road. Â
CACC Tournament History
• This is the Lions third trip to the CACC Tournament in program history.
• They also made the dance in 2019-20 and 2022-23.
• Georgian Court has not won a CACC Tournament game in their history.Â

Cam Edmonds is the only Lion to play in the CACC Tournament with GCU. He played 20 minutes as a freshman in 2022-23 against Bloomfield scoring four points with four rebounds and two assists.Â
• Edmonds isn't the only Lion to appear in the CACC Tournament though.
Donald-James Imo appeared in games in 2024-25 and 2023-24 with Chestnut Hill. In 20 combined minutes hes scored nine points going 4-6 from the floor.Â
About the 2026 CACC Tournament
• The men's bracket has the early games in the tournament. All games on Quarterfinal Tuesday will start at 5:30 or 6 pm.
• In addition to the Georgian Court/Goldey-Beacom matchup, the bracket features CACC Regular Season champions Felician hosting Holy Family.
• Should GCU advance to the semifinals, they'll play the winner of No. 3 Jefferson and No. 6 Dominican.Â
• The 4/5 matchup sees No. 4 Caldwell hosting No. 5 Post.
• The semifinals and finals take place Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8. Caldwell plays host for Championship weekend.Â
About Goldey-Beacom
• Goldey-Beacom earned the No. 2 seed in the tournament with back-to-back wins over Holy Family and Bridgeport to close the regular season.Â
• They finished the year at 19-9 overall and 13-7 in the CACC. Playing at home has also been a big advantage for them where they're 12-2.Â
• The Lightning are one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the country, pulling down 15.5 per game which ranks fourth in the country.Â
• They also force 15.8 turnovers per game, which is second-best in the CACC and their turnover margin is also second in the league.Â
• The thievery starts with Emarquis Jones who has 57 this season, fourth in the CACC.
• GBC likes to load up from deep. They average more than nine three-pointers per game and are shooting 34.5% from distance.Â
• Goldey-Beacom has three scoring in double-figures this year led by Tre Powell with 18.7. He's a sharp-shooter knocking down 43.1% from three and 83.7% at the foul line. He's also been red hot of late shooting 60%, 15-25 from three in his last five games.
• Brian Blanchet is another to watch from distance. He's 47-139 on the year.
• Jones is also scoring 13.2 and has a team-leading 6.8 rebounds per game. He's shooting 51% overall.Â
• GBC is leading the CACC scoring 85.8 points per game. They're run-and-gun offense leads to some high-scoring affairs. They're towards the bottom of the league defensively allowing 80.4 points.Â
