INDIANAPOLIS (June 23, 2026) - The final College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Teams for the 2025-26 season were announced Tuesday afternoon. The organization announced the recipients for men's and women's Track and Field with Georgian Court earning 10 total.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Track and Field Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The CSC requires both academic and athletic standards to maintain to be eligible for the Academic All-District Team. Student-athletes must have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.50 and be of sophomore or high academic standing. Nominees must have also have been in the top-50 in their region in at least one individual event either during the indoor or outdoor season or finished in the top-50 at the NCAA Regional Cross Country meet.
Of the 10 Lions to make the grade, six were on the men's side and four on the women's. Additionally, seven are repeat winners from 2025. First time winners for the men include
Brandon Rudder and
Amir Spruell-Everson.
Malicah Etienne,
Nolan Kus,
Ryan Pettrow and
Ivan Ramos-Lopez all earned their second award. For the women, they were loaded up with four throwers being recognized.
Kaydence Fischer,
Sabrina Halk and
Chiamaka Wokocha all repeated as award winners from last year while
Adrianna Fodera earned her first.
Malicah Etienne was one of the top performing Lions in the classroom and the throwing circle. The junior has a 3.67 GPA in Criminal Justice. Etienne was not only top-50 in the region in three events, but top-four as he earned All-Region honors. Indoors he threw 50-8.25 in the shot put which sat fourth in the East. He improved to third outdoors throwing 52-8.25 and was second in the discus with an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 169-7, winning the CACC Championship in both events.
Graduate student
Nolan Kus was in the regions top-50 in two events both indoors and outdoors, giving him four total. In the classroom, Kus is a Business Administration graduate student with a 3.95 GPA. Indoors he was top-50 in the 3,000m running 9:20.04 and the 5,000m running 16:08.35 which sat 25th in the region. Kus was also top-50 outdoors in the 5K running 16:07.38 and was 26th in the 10K setting a new personal-best time 34:05.20.
Junior
Ryan Pettrow shares the GCU lead for most events in the region's top-50 among Academic All-District recipients. He was in three indoors and two outdoors for five total. Pettrow is an Exercise Science major with a 3.80 GPA. Indoors, Pettrow was not only top-50, but top-25 in all three events. He ranked 14th in both the 800 (1:59.77) and mile (4:23.93) and 25th in the 3,000m (9:02.01). He was again top-50 outdoors in the 800m running 1:58.98 which was 31st and his 1500m time of 4:04.37 ranked 23rd.
Junior
Ivan Ramos-Lopez was in the East Region top-20 in the pole vault both indoors and outdoors. He jumped 13-5.75 indoors which was 14th and 13-0.25 outdoors which was 19th. In the classroom, the soon-to-be senior has a 3.97 GPA while studying Business Administration.
Brandon Rudder missed the indoor season, but still came back and was in the top-25 in all three sprint events outdoors. Rudder made big strides and set three personal-bests on the track. He ran 10.80 in the 100m which ranked 16th regionally, 21.79 in the 200m which was 17th and 49.61 in the 400m which was 24th. The academic junior has a 3.75 GPA while studying Finance.
The final men's recipient is transfer
Amir Spruell-Everson. He too is a junior with a 3.69 GPA in Biology. Like Pettrow, Spruell-Everson was in the region's top-50 in five total events. Indoors, the thrower was 17th in the weight throw at 48-11.75 and 20th in the shot put at 43-10. Outdoors he ranked as high as 14th in the hammer throw at 155-5. He was also 22nd in the discus at 132-10 and 38th in the shot put at 40-9.5
Kaydence Fischer is a junior studying Exercise Science with a 3.81 GPA. She was in the region's top-50 in one event indoors and three outdoors. Indoors she threw the shot put 36-6.75 which was 21st in the East. Outdoors she was All-Region in the discus. The two-time CACC Champion threw 141-4 in the event which was third in the region. She was also 19th in the shot put throwing 36-1.25 and 27th in the hammer throw at 117-7.
Like Pettrow and Spruell-Everson on the men's side,
Adrianna Fodera was top-50 in five total events. She was sixth in the weight throw at 51-4.25 and 15th in the shot put throwing 37-7.25. Outdoors she improved in the shot put to 39-10.75 which was sixth in the East. She ranked 14th in the javelin throwing 112-6 and 22nd in the hammer throw throwing 129-10. In the classroom, Fodera is a 3.83 student while studying Psychology.
Sabrina Halk did not compete indoors, but made her second straight Academic All-District Team by sitting in the top-50 in two outdoor events. Halk is a graduate student with a 4.0 GPA in Integrated Marketing. She was 28th in the East this season in the discus throwing 101-0 and 34th in the hammer throw at 109-4.
Junior
Chiamaka Wokocha was in the region's top-10 in three different events and was named All-Region in the hammer throw as she took the CACC crown in the event. Wokocha is a Biology major with a 3.61 GPA. Indoors she ranked 10th in the East in the weight throw with a season-best toss of 50-0. Outdoors, Wokocha was fifth in the hammer throw at 164-2 and seventh in the discus at 131-0.
Later this summer, the CSC will announce the Track and Field Academic All-American selections.
Malicah Etienne represents Georgian Court on the ballot for Academic All-American consideration.
