NEW HAVEN, Conn. (June 25, 2026) - The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) released this afternoon their 2025-26 Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team. Georgian Court put nine on the All-Academic Team this season, as announced by the league.
In order for student-athletes to be eligible, they must have completed a minimum of two semesters at their current institution with a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.50 following the preceding term. They must also be a second-year student-athlete at their institution and have competed in at least 67% of a team's games or started 50%.
This year, the Lions had a mix of veterans making the All-Academic team including seven earning the nod for at least the second time.
Tyler Burns,
Vincent Burns,
Sebastien Castillo,
Hunter Rindos and
Brodie Seaborn all make the team for the third straight season.
Harrison Jordan and Zachary Myers make their second appearance on the All-Academic team while
Malik Alzubi and
Vincent Burkhart each receive their first nod.
Alzubi is the only sophomore to make the All-Academic Team. The Parsippany, NJ native is a Business Administration major with a 3.61 GPA. This season, Alzubi played in 12 games and was among the team leaders with 33 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. He finished the the year with at least two ground balls in the final 11 games. He also scored his first career goal playing at Pace.
Burkhart is a senior from Stillwater, MN who graduated with a 3.51 GPA in Marketing. He'll go down as one of the greatest goaltenders not only at Georgian Court, but in CACC history as he departs as the conference all-time leader in wins and saves. This season, Burkhart started all 13 games making 160 saves with a .528 save percentage and 11.61 goals against average.
Tyler Burns, from Howell, NJ graduated this year with a 3.63 GPA studying Business Administration. Burns was a strong two-way player for the Lions who filled the offensive and defensive stat-sheets, starting all 13 games. He was second on the team with 16 assists while also scoring 15 goals for 31 points. The midfielder also came up with 17 ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers.
Vincent Burns is another senior with a 3.90 GPA while studying Accounting. The Howell, NJ native set career-highs this season scoring 21 goals and 26 points. The senior attackman was a major contributor offensively and defensively where he also came up with 24 ground balls and caused nine turnovers. His per-game averages in goals, points, ground balls and caused turnovers are all career-bests.
Castillo, a senior from Washington, NJ saw his playing time increase in his final year with the Lions. He played in all 13 games and set career-highs with four goals, five assists and nine points to go along with eight ground balls. He had his first career two-goal game scoring a pair at Wilmington in March. In the classroom, Castillo graduated with a 3.90 GPA in Business Administration.
Jordan, from Valley Cottage, NY, finished the 2026 as the team-leader in points with 41. He scored 29 goals and added 12 assists. His 29 goals and 41 points set career-highs. Jordan graduates in 2026 as a Psychology major with a 3.56 GPA. He also surpassed 100 career points this season, finishing with 109 in his four seasons.
Myers had a breakout season playing all 13 games and starting 10. He scored a career-best 19 goals and 28 points. He scored multiple goals in seven games and finished the year with multiple goals in six of his last seven games. In the classroom, the Garnet Valley, PA junior was extremely successful with a 3.99 GPA in Health Sciences.
Islip, NY native
Hunter Rindos capped his GCU career graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice and a 3.59 GPA. Rindos started all 13 games on defense in his final season and was among the Lions leaders in ground balls and caused turnovers. His 19 ground balls match a single-season high, which he reached three times in four years. His 10 caused turnovers were one off of a career-best.
Seaborn finished his four years at Georgian Court with a 3.69 GPA in Business Administration. He led the Lions this season with a career-high 31 goals scored while also passing out seven assists and coming up with 20 ground balls. The Calgary, Alberta, Canada native finished his career setting a new GCU single-game record scoring eight goals in the season finale against Caldwell.
