NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Sept. 28, 2026) - The Lions went 2-0 last week and saw two players earn CACC Weekly Awards following their strong performances.
The Lions scored seven goals last week while allowing none, with Seanna Boan and Erynn Richey standing out to earn CACC Weekly Awards. Boan was named CACC Player of the Week, while Richey earned CACC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Boan had a strong offensive week for the Lions, scoring one goal in each of their two games. She also added an assist in both contests, finishing the week with two goals and two assists.
Richey has been a vital piece for the Lions all season, helping anchor the back line and contributing to the team's strong defensive play. She also made an impact offensively last week, finding the back of the net for a goal.
Georgian Court has a pair of home games this week, beginning Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. against Wilmington. The Lions return to the field Saturday for Homecoming, hosting Monroe at 10 a.m.
