LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University tennis team, playing its third match in three days, fell to visiting Millersville University, 8-1, Friday afternoon at GCU's Ellen Mullane Gallagher Tennis Center. 

The Lions' lone victory came in doubles action as the freshman duo of Victoria Gaffney and Sarah Lockenmeyer (pictured) upended Millersville's tandem of Amanda Carello (So.) and Michelle DeStefano (Jr.), 8-2.

GCU has lost three straight matches and now falls to 4-7 on the year. Millersville improves to 3-2 with the win. 

The Lions travel to Goldey-Beacom College this Monday for a 3:00 PM match, a contest made necessary because of a rainout, September 27th.
