LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court tennis team won its season-high third consecutive match, and evened its record at 4-4, with a 6-3 victory over visiting Molloy College, Saturday afternoon at GCU's Ellen Mullane Tennis Center. The match was a make-up for a rainout on August 28th.
Brittany Aimone (6-0, 6-1),
Sarah Lockenmeyer (4-6, 6-1, 6-1) and
Alexus McClintic (pictured) (6-3, 6-1) each capped off 3-0 records for the week with singles wins. Aimone and
Natalie Grieci teamed up for a 9-7 doubles triumph over Molloy's tandem of Annie Ayala (Sr.) and Alex Bonventre (So.). McClintic and senior Caitlyn Lawerence defeated Jeana Frey (Fr.) and Caitlin Ortiz (Fr.), 9-7.
The Lions look to make it four striaght when they travel to Holy Family University on Wednesday afternoon for a 3:30 PM match.
