FLUSHING, NY- After having their season-opening match vs. Molloy College postponed due to rain last Saturday, the GCU tennis team had to wait until Thursday to finally take the court, which they did at Queens College. The excitement of finally kicking off the campaign quickly waned, unfortunately, as the Lady Knights (1-0) blanked the Lions, 9-0. Georgian Court managed to grab only two games all afternoon vs. a notoriously dominant Queens roster.

The Lions (0-1) will spend the next five days contemplating the squad's strategy as they look forward to their next match this Tuesday (9/8) at Dowling College in Oakdale, NY. Start time is scheduled for 3:30pm.
